A diffferent take on CAS

With all the excitement of getting the cards for the CS Extravaganza finished and up on the blog, I didn't work on something new.
I do have something that I made for the CAS Challenge at Simply Scrapping Crafts:

Hope you like it!

CS Extravaganza - 6th Card

And finally, a soft white & gold card with one of the free sentiments I received for entering the competition:
Do visit CS Designs for some more magnificent digi's.

CS Extravaganza - 5th Card

My favourite colour combo : I just had to do one card in Black, white & red!
This is a freebie from CS Designs: It is called Twirly Heart.
I added Sparkles to the design to add some extra interest.

CS Extravaganza - 4th Card

Here is number 4: I tried to create a dreamy effect with the colours I used.
I used the free sentiment I received for entering the competition. Go and find some more lovely designs at CS Designs.

CS Extravaganza - 3rd Card

And here is my 3rd card! Yes, I'm on a roll!
It is almost autumn here and the leaves signify the change of the seasons.
I used another free sentiment that I got on entering the competion. There are some more lovely images at CS Designs.

CS Extravaganza - 2nd Card

This time I used the 'believe' sentiment and created a background for the card:
The sentiment is one of 4 I received when I entered the competition. There are some more lovely digital images at CS Designs.

CS Extravaganza - 1st Card

Here is my first entry into the CS Designs Extravaganza
It is Lulu Fashion Diva with some newly acquired bling! Go and find her and her friends at CS Designs.

The photo was taken by candlelight to signify the candles lit for the victims.

Same Recipe, different card

Using the same card recipe, and the same papers, with extra embellishments, I made a card for the Wednesday Card Challenge at SSC.
The recipe required a double bow for which a tutorial is supplied. It took a few tries, but I must say, I'll use this again. One spectacular bow on a simple card can really make a difference.
Well, here is my card - can you spot the differences?

Another CAS card

The CAS Challenge over at SSC has really inspired me.
Here is another card I made. This is such a quick and easy method.
I've even used a textured background for the photograph of this card because I thought it will enhance the display of the card. A first for me. I'm getting brave! :) It did turn out well, don't you think?
The stamping and cutting took the most time.
The stamp is Penny Black

CAS Challenge at SSC

I've been thinking so much about how I want to go about with the blog, that I have not posted for a while.

Here is my first card for the 11th March CAS Challenge over at Simply Scrapping Crafts

This challenge really inspired me - I made another card and I have about 3 lined up. It is so quick and easy, and very effective.

I remember using this idea a few years ago for Christmas cards. I had this lovely Christmas collage paper that I cut, matted and stuck down on cards. I then just added a tag or a label. This is great for mass production - something at which I suck :)
