All you need is Love

The new challenge is up and running at Art with no Boundaries.

I have decided to go 3D with one of the fabulous new Expressive Hearts from CSDesigns.

The sentiment is also by Chris. I added some ribbon and crystal beads and there is my Valentine decoration.

Hope you like it and get inspired to make your own Valentine's project for the Challenge.

It's Time!

I'm at last getting to do a card for Dare to be Sassy Thursdays #108 at Sassy Studio Designs. The theme is Frosty Winter colours and my choice fell on blues and silver:

I used the sexy Steampunk Victoria and dressed her in blue, black and silver. Her soft white boots complete the picture. My pencils were used to colour her. I decided not to blend, thus giving an effect of more texture.

My base is a blue card. The silver mirror board was trimmed with a pattern scissors. I added pieces of a collage of clocks, etc that I edged with Indigo Blue ink. Last Victoria was added with mirror tape to give some more dimension.

Here is a close-up of Victoria:

That dress!

Here is my entry for the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge where the theme is Dresses/Dress Forms.

I used the Vintage Dress from Michelle Perkett's Studio who is also the sponsor this week. My colours : Red, Black & White with a touch of Silver.

Trees and Words

I've chosen to express my love of words and trees by making a mini art journal.
Today I'm showing you page 1 and 2 of my mini journal.

I started with some papers and then embellished my 2 pages with Striped Trees from CSdesigns as well as one of Chris's own sentiments from the same collection. Words, doodles and some gold gel finish these 2 pages.

Here you can see a little bit more of page 2:

Just to put it all into perspective, each page is the size of an ATC.

I started with 5 'paypacket' envelopes that I folded in half and then glued together to create the basis of my mini journal.

And here is some of the papers I'm using:

I hope you will come visit again tomorrow when I will show you some more of my little journal.

Ocean Fun!

My creation using the fabulous artwork from CSDesigns:

I used Loreley Shells and Sand Ocean Montage that was printed on acetate. I added some Stickles to give detail. It was then mounted on a piece of map and some bling completes the picture for this ATC.

I decided that it has enough attitude to enter in the ATCs with Attitude Anything Goes challenge, the last of their ONLY ATCs Challenges. From next week they allow cards too!

Express Yourself!

Here is my first card:

The things that inspire me come from around me,
things I see, things I hear, things I experience.
I create because I enjoy it, because I have all these ideas in my head.
Not everything works out, but that’s part of the whole process.

I used one of the new sentiments by Chris from CSDesigns.
Take this chance to really express yourself through your art.
No Boundaries, remember.

A Case study

CASE Study Challenge #72 was half the inspiration for my card.
The other half was the sketch on Crafting By Designs.

The heart is an acrylic stamp that I shadow stamped directly on the card and on cardstock which I then cut out & raised for a 3D effect. Buttons & ribbons complete the picture.

Something Old, Something New

Digistamps4Joy challenge for the week is : Anything(Something Old, Something New) Goes!,
What a lovely challenge!

I decided to use Little Chef. I had him printed out for a while and he was just the right image I needed.
My old is the b&w check paper. I've had it for ages. The new is the buttons. The writing is my own.

I'm entering my Thank You card in the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge as well.

Some 60's Fun

The Theme for the challenge at Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge blog is 60's.

I used some paper with circles that reminds me of the 60's. I also used a Groovy Digi from Nana Vic. O yes and some cardstock & bling to complete the picture.

I'm also joining the Just for Fun Challenge where the theme is 60's and 70's.

If You're Cute...

The Theme for the challenge at Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge blog is 60's.
I'm a 60's baby (born 1960!) so I could not resist using a b&w photo of myself for the ATC.

My dress was red and I had ballet pumps on. The ribbons tied to my legs didn't want to stay up so they stuck it on with sticky tape! And I had to have rollers in my hair which felt for hours to curl it. That I hated and I still don't like to sit for hours at a hairdresser...:)

I made a copy of the photo and added ribbon, punched flowers and bling. The date I wrote.

I'm also joining the Just for Fun Challenge where the theme is 60's and 70's.

After some deliberation, I think this ATC has the right attitude to join the Anything Goes Challenge at ATC's with Attitude. Hope you think so too!

Red and Black

The challenge at Dilly Beans Designers and Friday Challenges asks for Shades of Red and Black. This colour combo is my personal favourite.

I'm still on my ATC roll so I made an ATC in shades of red and black:

Stamps: Hero Arts & Great Impressions South Africa.
The writing is a b&w copy of some wrapping paper bought years ago.
The rest is CS, ribbon, etc from my stash.

I would also like to enter my ATC in the following challenges:

http://atcswithattitude.blogspot.com/  Anything Goes

Another New Year's ATC

This little ATC was a bit dull until I added some glitter. :)
I used the same materials as for my previous ATC.

I would like to enter my ATC in the Anything Goes challenge at ATCs with Attitude.

Happy New Year!

2012 is here and some new challenges await.
I've created an ATC for the challenge at Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog. The theme is New Year Celebration!

Here is my party creation for my first challenge for 2012:

I did some 'editing' on a Millennium stamp by removing the '2000' bits to create a new stamp that is more usable. I like the new fireworks!

I also used a PSX stamp.

My other new item is the piece of pink card stock that I bought on the 31st of December 2011 for another project. So now I can enter my ATC for the challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks, Something New. The little easel is also new.

Another challenge asking for Something New is Party Time Tuesdays.

I can also tick of one thing on my list of to-do's, using my rubber stamps more. I think this was a good start.

I'm also entering the Simon Says Stamp Challenge where Anything Goes! And of course, I have used stamps!

Another challenge I'm entering is the one over at TSG : New Year, New New Start
Using my stamps more and in a new way is definitely one of my resolutions and this little ATC was a good start.
