Sweet Sketch Wednesday #102!

Here is Sketch #102 over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday:

And here is my take on the sketch:

The first thing I had to do to make my card was to find my oval cutter. Then I had to figure out how it worked...haven't used it for about a decade, I guess...Well, I eventually figured it out.

 I decided to go with an oversized oval, to almost over-emphasize my theme 'Queen for a day'. The sentiment is from Create with TLC, the frame is from Bird's Cards, the crown from Melonheadz and the fabulous chair you can find here. The papers are from a no-name pack, I added some rhinestones, ribbon and Gold Stickles for extra bling.

Just Some Lines Challenge

There is a challenge on at Just Some Lines with a wedding theme. It runs until the 4th of May. Any image can be used, but using a JSL image gives you 2 entries in the random draw! Here is my creation:

I looked through all my JSL images and I decided to use the Modern Flowers. I adhered the printed flowers to the top of the card, added some silver organza ribbon and a rhinestone heart buckle, and then finished it of with a sentiment by Hero Arts stamped in grey. And last, but not least, I added some Stickles in the flowers and little dots.
