Sparkling Bride

There is a new challenge at Crafting By Designs with the theme: Winter, Glitter, Sparkles

Our generous sponsor is Sami Stamps.

I used Lily Bride to create my sparkly card. (I just love all those pretty brides!)
It is summer in South Africa, and quite hot at the moment, so I just went for the sparkle!
Brides always sparkle, come winter or summer!

The bride was coloured with pencils, cut and layered on sparkle card and fixed to the card. I then used some glue to add lines for the ultra fine Crystal glitter.

Bling for a Queen!

The template this time around is a fabulous royal cake, complete with crowns. I decided on red, white & gold and loads of glitter.

Silhouette Fantasy

Welcome!

It is time for a new challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad and we have Floppy Latte as our sponsor.

They have all these wonderful Silhouettes that the Design Team could play with. Do go and have a look around!

I decided to use Garden Fantasy and keep it simple:

I added my background using sponges and stamp pads, doing the same on the card. A bright pink layer, rhinestone flowers and a touch of glitter adds some extra detail to the dawn scene.

Framed Flower Tutorial

Welcome!

In a few easy steps, I want to show you how to make a framed flower card:

1. Print out your Striped Circular Petal Frame in a few sizes and colours.

2. Optional step: Colour your frames - I skiped this one.

3. Cut out the frames

4. Cut the petals loose and shape them by rolling over a pencil.

5. Cut stem from Diamond Dot Mini Background as well as mat for sentiment.

6. Add stem to narrow card, layer petals & add to stem. Add sentiment.

7. Fix rhinestone to flower and add some glitter glue. (Stickles)

8. Done!

Make your own Pattern Paper at Michelle Perkett

Monday and another card for a Michelle Perkett Challenge, the 4th one for May! Maybe one day I'll finish it sooner....

The challenge : Make your own pattern paper and use a Michelle Perkett image.

I used a butterfly I received as a freebie some time ago. The butterfly was used to create the paper. It was then printed in grayscale. I decided to stay with the simple colourscheme and added a touch of green & silver, glitterpaint and bling. My card:

The 'create' is a part of the image and this is an inspiration to myself and all of you who visit my blog.
