Blog skip at Crafting by Designs!

A new beginning, a favourite season!

Welcome to the blog hop celebrating our new blog Crafting by Designs!

Our theme: Our favourite season!

If you arrived here via Julia's blog: Paper and Scraps Creations, you're still on track! Don't you think her card is so super cute, all ready for Christmas!

My favourite season is Autumn or Fall. I love the leaves that changes colour, the whole way the season change. Leaves in all shapes and sizes and colours, I really love leaves!

The card I made is quite simple and quick, using some die-cut leaves, stamp pads and sponges. I used the leaves as templates to create the background on a tall Kraft card. The leaves were sponged and curled and added with dimension tape. A few glitter dots complete the card.

Your next stop is Tammy's blog : Cuttin' and Stampin where I'm sure you'll get some more inspiration!

Thanks for visiting, hope you'll visit again!

Anything Goes at AWNB!

Welcome!

A new week, a new challenge at Art with No Boundaries! The theme this week is Anything Goes.
This is such a wonderful chance for expressing yourself, making that card that doesn't fit in any current challenge!

I made a fancy fold card using autumn browns, oranges, yellows and golds, Solitaire / Swirl and Monocle and the True Beauty Sentiment.

The outside of the card:

The card opened:

I chalked the image and added some Jelly Roll. The background was sponged with chocolate ink and gold paint. The various triangles were stamped with background stamps, and then sponged.

The sentiment was also sponged. A pretty gold ribbon bow finishes off the card.

I hope my card inspires you to join the challenge!

Sunflower and butterfly

I love sunflowers and butterflies and this wonderful digi by Justinklined combines both.

Here is my fourth entry in the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge Round #3:

I kept it simple but just had to 3D the butterfly:

Hope you like it!

Autumn Fairy

I used the Autumn Fairy by Gurukitty Designs for my second card in the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge Round #3.

My choice of colours were browns and some purples. I added a bit of glitter foil and some bling.

A close-up to show the glitter bits.

Hope you like her!

Round 3 - Autumn

My first card for the CDAC Progressive Challenge Round 3.

I used the bowl of apples by Glitterbabes. I love apples and these looked juicy.
I kept the colours simple, basically primary colours with a bit of brown for the wood. My autumn lettering is my own, foiled with red & bronze. The woven ribbon adds a bit of texture and continues the rustic feel.

And my writing:

Hope you like it!

Autumn Leaves

It's time again for a new challenge at Art with No Boundaries.
The theme is Fall or Autumn.

I made this card using a new sentiment by CSDesigns especially for fall. My layout was inspired by Unscripted Sketches #124.

And here is a close-up:

I love paper punching and here you can see when I start, it's difficult to stop...
I also did a bit of foiling and added some chalk, another favourite.

Hope you like my autumn card. Autumn is really my favourite season!

Simon Says Anything Goes

My project for the Simon Says Stamp-tember Challenge is an Autumn Tag.
The theme is 'Anything Goes'. Hop on over, there might still be time left to do the blog hop and stand in line for some fabulous treasures.

The sentiment is from Sherlock's Home. I lighty chalked the sentiment and coloured the leaves with chalk as well.
The background leaf is a Poetic Print from Hero Arts.
A Marvy Punch was used to punch the leaves from different papers and paint chips.

I'm adding my tag to the following fun challenges:
