Balance

Welcome!

I'm on a bit of an ATC roll! It is because there are a few deadlines to meet and an ATC is a bit quicker to make, not always easier!

My ATC was made with the 4th image of the CDAC's Progressive Challenge : Hawaii Girl, kindly supplied by BacktoPaper.

The background I've done a while ago when I was playing with papers and background ideas, suing pages from magazines and brochures. The sentiment : 'Find your balance' was added then, but it still needed something. I coloured the girl in softer shades to contrast with the background. I like how she still stand out against the strong background. I used 3D tape to add her to the background.

Round 2 of the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge and my card is ready to show:

The cute image and sentiment is from Back to Paper. I coloured the rainbow and the sentiment. The bottom cloud was 3-D'd, the sentiment layered and Diamond Stickles lend a sparkle to my card!

At last I'm making a card, using the cute umbrella (NanaVic Digitals) I received for the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge! (Had them printed out for a while already!)

My card is very CAS, the umbrella coloured in a rainbow of colours:

Sunflower and butterfly

I love sunflowers and butterflies and this wonderful digi by Justinklined combines both.

Here is my fourth entry in the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge Round #3:

I kept it simple but just had to 3D the butterfly:

Hope you like it!

Purple Tag

This time I made a tag for my third entry in the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge Round #3.

I used the little lady by Liastampz. The tag reminds of the Red Hat Society and the autumn of life. Sounds much more colourful than the winter of life!

Here is a close-up:

Hope you like her!

Autumn Fairy

I used the Autumn Fairy by Gurukitty Designs for my second card in the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge Round #3.

My choice of colours were browns and some purples. I added a bit of glitter foil and some bling.

A close-up to show the glitter bits.

Hope you like her!

Round 3 - Autumn

My first card for the CDAC Progressive Challenge Round 3.

I used the bowl of apples by Glitterbabes. I love apples and these looked juicy.
I kept the colours simple, basically primary colours with a bit of brown for the wood. My autumn lettering is my own, foiled with red & bronze. The woven ribbon adds a bit of texture and continues the rustic feel.

A close up of my bowl of apples:

And my writing:

Hope you like it!

Another Back to School

Another card using the round 2 freebies for the CDAC Progressive Challenge.

I used the girl by Tortagialla and an alphabet stamp set by Hampton Art. After I cut and coloured her, I layered a few different papers and added her. My Gelly Roll pen added a final touch to her glasses and top.

Hope you like her!

Happy Birthday TLC on CDAC

TLC is celebrating their first birthday on CDAC.
Paulette generously supplied images to help us join in the festivities by making a card.
The challenge is to supply our own sentiment.

I decided to go vintage with my card:

I used chalk and soft pastel to give colour to my picture and sentiment. I also added some more definition with my brown and gold stamp pads. The doilie was also chalked and layered onto some gold tissue paper. Three rhinestones add some glamour to the card.

Here is a close-up of the sentiment out of my pen.

Hope you like my creation!

Another CDAC Challenge

The challenge : Make a card you would have made for a friend 100 years ago
I found a card from 1910 and used that as my inspiration and layout.

The beautiful image from Nicecrane was the freebie for the challenge. I chalked the image, layered it on a piece that I stamped, chalked & curled. The ribbon & flower is in vintage colours. I made the ribbon flower to look made, not manufactured. The writing is my own.
